Business Intelligence Analyst
About the Role
This role focuses on transforming raw data into meaningful insights that support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, identify trends, and create dashboards that guide operational and organizational improvements.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize dashboards and reports using BI tools
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Collaborate with teams to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions
- Monitor key metrics and provide regular performance updates
- Prepare presentations that communicate complex insights in a clear, concise manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and reporting methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical data to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to Have
- Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics
- Background in business forecasting or statistical modeling
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
- Experience in KPI development and performance tracking
